Primeval Feast a possible new 10 man raid?

Looking around on the PTS today, I noticed a new tab under “Raids” labeled as Primeval Feast that contains achievements that total up to 180 achievement points. Looking through them it looks like this new raid is a mixture of previous bosses we’ve encountered: Hylas; Altha, Ember Isle’s Life Event boss and Atrophinius from Realm of the Fae and Runic Descent. These two alone along with the wording lead me to believe that this instance will be a life-based raid.

My guess for it being a 10 man is only based solely on the fact that the amount of achievement points are pretty much in line with the other 10 mans: 200 (Original) for Guilded Prophecy, 220 (Original) for Drowned Halls, 200 (Original) for Rise of the Phoenix.

The achievements on the PTS right now are:

40 Days and 40 Knives

Kill Forty Banetouched minions before destroying the Life Anchors.
Anchor Man

Destroy both Life Anchors within five minutes after Hylas dies.

Nameplates and Its UI On the PTS

As mentioned a few weeks a ago, a not-ready for release version of nameplates went up on the PTS for a few hours. As mentioned they were still working on it at the time so it was not a complete product. However, they are available now on the PTS and include settings so you can have the nameplates to what you prefer to see (or not see if you want to keep them disabled.)

By default, the nameplates offer the following categories to edit: Player, Target, Hostile and Friendly. Each of the categories offers four options (in a dropdown menu) of when your nameplates will be activated. You can chose from In Combat, On Harm, Always or Never. Each of the aforementioned allow you to disable the power bar, allow you to click through it (clicking a nameplate changes it to your target), scale it, change the transparency of the nameplate with a target, and the transparency without a target.

Trion have done a great job on giving the user as much control over the nameplates option as they’ve probably seen by the feedback given when the initial “New Nameplates on PTS!!!…

Maklamos the Scryer and Rusila Dreadblade Available 4/28

Decoy finally announced that the Earth wing will be opened on Saturday, April 28th at 11:00AM PST worldwide. This pattern will stay the same for the rest of the ID gating schedule pending no issues at all.

Infernal Dawn Gate Unlock Dates and Times:

Greetings, Infernal Dawn raiders! We hope you’ve been having a good time in Infernal Dawn this past week, and wanted to make you more aware of our specific plans to unlock the rest of the encounters. Assuming everything goes as planned, ID unlocks will all occur simultaneously worldwide at 11:00am PST on Saturdays. The next unlock is scheduled for 11am PST on Saturday, April 28, and will grant access to the Earth Wing. Maklamos the Scryer and Rusila Dreadblade will be waiting.

Infernal Dawn Itemization Fixes for Some Drops

The Cleric shield, Smoldering Island Shield, and Strength-heavy Dagger, Smoldering Island Dagger, will have their stats updated in an upcoming fix. Currently the shield has only +50 focus when the base focus in ID is +65 (or +130 for 2h) while the Dagger is currently strength heavy but does not fully benefit Warriors due to a lack of Dagger hexes in their PA as well as a pre-existing sword that has the exact stats.

Josh York, Rift’s Systems Designer (Itemization), has replied stating that both items have had their itemization fixed internally and will be up [on live] soon.

If you come across an item that has incorrect stats, don’t be afraid to report it via the ticketing system in Rift or by posting a thread up on the Rift Forums.…

Low-Level Characters with Max Professions and the Keepers Daily

If you currently utilize a low-level main/alt that’s under 48 and do your dailies all the time, you’ve probably found yourself unable to turn in the dailys for the Keepers. A lot of people have expressed disdain about being unable to turn in their max-profession dailies. Due to the feedback received Walsingham has posted up on the forums that they are looking into a solution for you low level crafters!

Keeper Faction Quests:

Greetings Ascended,

We are currently are looking into a solution for Keeper faction quests and their turn-in location. Currently the new dalies can’t be turned in by lower level crafters. A fix should be coming in the next update, and you can hold on to your quests until that time if you so choose.
