If you’re currently a EU player that has characters on the Icewatch shard, you’re in for quite a surprise. Due to the increasing popularity of Icewatch, you’ve experienced a lot of queue times even prior to the game going F2P. Now the problem has only been exacerbated by the amount of new and old people flocking to the game. As a result, Elrar announced early last night that Icewatch is being converted to a trial shard and two new English language shards will now be taking the place of Icewatch and Akala (German RP.)…

Today has been an even crazier day for Rift in both the EU and NA cluster.. However, NA people had a big surprise tonight during peak hours of the game. Around 7:30pm CST, every North American shard was full and had hundreds of people sitting in queue to log in. Patrons and regular free-to-play users were stuck in queue for hours tonight. Along with the queues was some massive server-side lag that affected chat and ability usage. Not a fun night for guilds that raided tonight. Most were unable to fill out rosters due to people being stuck in queue.…

Raptr is at it again with another reward for Rift players! This time it’s the Ancient Tartagon mount that is available for you to earn. You will need the status of “Hardcore” or higher with Raptr’s reputation system.
Then once you’ve earned the reward, claim it via the Rift Mount reward page. To apply the code, log into your Rift account and go to the Apply Code page and voila, you’re all done! You’ll then find the mount in your mailbox once you log into Rift. Collect it and trot away into Telara with your shiny new beast thing.…

A couple of weeks ago, Elrar posted about being able to earn “up to” double our credits spent on the PTS. The original bonus value was 150% to 200% and people were curious as to whether the more you spent meant you could receive 200% back and vice versa. Well, no more guessing required. Daglar notified us yesterday that we’ll be receiving 200% Credit bonus back for every credit you spend on the Rift Store up until tomorrow.…

The Rift Store had another new updated yesterday in anticipation of allowing people to purchase credits to test it out in preparation of 2.3 Empyreal Assault‘s launch on June 12th. So I went onto the PTS last night and decided to purchase some credits especially since you can earn double your credits (or more).
While I love costumes and companions.. the one thing I’ve always purchased immediately when they were available have been any of the Mounts that Trion offered up for sale. So of course, the first thing I spent some of my credits on where for the new Premium Mounts. There’s currently 9 new “Premium Mounts” available around 1000 credits with two at 1500 credits. Roughly ~$5.55 and ~$8.33. Considering I’ve paid $10 for the Armored White War Tiger in the past, a $5 price for “Premium Mounts” fits comfortably with my wallet.…
