Jultharin – Strategy

Raid Make Up:

Jultharin – 14.4 Million HP

Main Abilities:

Strategy:

The main concerns with this boss are Jultharin’s Spark and Deranging Tempest. The other two abilities that the boss executes can be healed through with two AoE healers.

The raid should set up in the center of the room. Positioning only matters for ease of dealing with the wisps. Designate one DPS to pick and mark one of the wisps when they spawn. The other DPS should all immediately switch to the designated wisp and burn it down. Assist macros are very useful for this mechanic. As soon as the wisp dies, an opening will form in the barrier. The entire raid needs to move through the opening or position themselves so that they are standing in line with the opening so that the barrier does not touch them as it moves past. This mechanic essentially forces all melee dps to stay on the boss or else risk being one-shot but the barrier. That being the case, having more than one melee DPS could make burning down the wisps in time very difficult, depending on the raid’s gear level.…

Grand Falconer Zoles – Strategy

Raid Make Up:

Grand Falconer Zoles – 12.8 Million HP

Main Abilities:

Strategy:

One tank (MT) needs to be on Zoles at all times, while the other (OT) needs to be on Skyscream. MT should position Zoles to the left of where he spawns (if you are looking in the room from the entrance), so that the boss faces the wall. In order to avoid players being one shot from the Lightning Sphere ability, the eight non-tank players will stack behind the boss, in melee range. Energy Lash will go out quickly behind Lightning Sphere so there is not enough time to spread out and avoid this damage so it must be healed through. Due to the combination of these two abilities, a Puri’s shield’s are very beneficial. One of the dps on the the boss, or MT must be assigned to interrupt Static Empowerment.

OT needs to pick up Skyscream and position the mob on or beside the boss for coincidental AoE. One ranged dps needs to be assigned to focus the add while the rest stay on the boss.…

Cyril – Strategy

Raid Makeup

Cyril – 13.6 Million HP

Cyril’s Main Abilities:

Strategy:

The first tank needs to taunt the boss, and turn him in place to face from the entrance. The second tank should remain behind the boss in order to not receive any stacks of Glimpse of Insanity. Once the first tank has received six stacks, two full channels, the tanks swap. The tanks should also be aware of Crushing Burden and use cooldowns as needed. The tank that is not currently tanking can simply stand with the raid to avoid unnecessary damage. The raid should stack against the table in the inner circle, closest to the entrance. Standing against the table prevents the raid from being knocked back and negates the Temple’s Wrath ability.

One person needs to be assigned to purging Mein of Supremacy as soon as it is cast as it causes the tanks to be hit much harder than necessary. Due to Inevitable Judgement and Crushing Burden, it is not impossible to have melee dps, but they will be much less effective than ranged in this fight.…

General Typhiria – Strategy

Raid Make Up:

General Typhiria – 13.81 Million HP

Phase 1 – Storm Warden

Abilities:
Strategy:

The tank should position the boss in the center of the ring on the ground. The Storm Warden and Storm Mistresses will summon very quickly, so the tank should be sure to pick up the adds. One add needs to be marked, and focused down. The other can be tanked and ignored. Once the focused add is down, and the bubble is up, any melee should clear out of the circle immediately. The tank should stay in just long enough to get the reactive ability, then get out. As the ability is a ranged attack, the tank should then target the Storm Warden use the ability two or three times (until it is dead), while maintaining aggro on Typhiria. If the tank is not comfortable doing this, assign a DPS to run in and gain the ability.

Once the Storm Warden is dead, it will drop a blue circle. One player should be designated to pick it up, and therefore have the protective blue bubble on them.…
