For a few weeks now people have been discussing the what the new souls the Cleric, Mage, Rogue and Warrior will be receiving come Storm Legion. Clerics have been posting about being content with the current healing soul, Justicar but perhaps a another DPS Soul. Bubblez (of No Quarter) wrote: “If it isn’t a healing soul, then as long as it has life-based attacks for more -icar options I’ll be a happy rifter!” Rogues have had various opinions on the suggestions for a healing soul. Warriors have been interested in a ranged and/or support soul.
Mages.. I think this is obvious what they’ve been gossiping about: a Mage tank soul! A large part of the Mage community have shown great interest in a tanking soul made available. There have been a lot of unique suggestions given on how the tanking would be handled. Xenoheart wrote: “Hopefully some kind of mitigation, dodge, teleport, alternate reality (they can creative with this), highly mobile mage type could help. I don’t mind if its a melee mage, but I am very excited to actually see what they’ll bring to the table.”

I am extremely excited to announce that the RIFT community team is gearing up for the first Storm Legion new soul glimpse. If you’re a mage, know a mage, or like mages you’re not going to want to miss this!
Get your first glimpse and discover the name of the new soul and its role on Friday, August 10th at 3:30PM PDT.
During this preview you will have the opportunity to submit questions to James “Elrar” Nichols and Elizabeth “Dahanese” Tobey.
This particular thread is to give you an opportunity to submit some questions so that the Trion team can be ready to answer them. Please remember that this is just a sneak peak. Elrar and Dahanese won’t be able to answer everything just yet but they’ll be happy to show you some of the exciting things that you can expect in the future.
If there is something that you’d like to know please submit questions in this thread or via Twitter @RIFTgame #RIFTLS (please use the hashtag or we might miss your question). I’ll collect them all and pass them off to Trion before show time.
Please bear in mind that the Storm Legion souls are still a work in progress and this is a first look. Consider it just a small peak into the amazing things that will arrive with the expansion.
In the coming weeks you can look forward to a live stream unveiling the remaining Warrior, Cleric, and Rogue souls when they’re ready for their debut!
